At Hacon Containers, we have been working with containers in various designs and sizes for over 40 years. Thanks to our experience, we know exactly what companies are looking for and what container options are available for different sectors. Experience has shown that companies not only want to buy containers, but that there is also a great need for container rental. To learn more about the possibilities of container rental, we are happy to give the floor to our colleagues from the rental department. Read all about the work of our rental team here.

Meet the rental team

Hacon Containers continues to grow, and this is no different in the rental department. In previous years, the sales and rental departments were still one entity, but due to strong growth, they have been split up for a number of years now. Sarah has more than four years of experience in the rental department and is currently training new colleagues Camillah and Tom.

In the rental department, the team works together on requests from various customers. In the future, Tom will mainly be taking on the field service. Sarah explains: “There is no fixed project manager per customer. We help the various customers as a team and handle the requests together.” This ensures that, as a customer, you are guaranteed a high-quality team with experience in the container industry.

How does renting a container work?

“We start the day with a good morning and a cup of coffee. Then we get to work on emails and check twice a day to see if the orders for the next day are ready,” says Sarah. In addition to answering emails, the rental department also processes existing requests, sets up the logistics process for rentals, and, of course, visits customers here and there.

The process of renting out a shipping container is handled from start to finish by the rental department team. Not only do they handle customer contact and finding the right fit, but they also take care of the logistics of getting the container to its destination and back again.

In theory, it is possible to rent any type of container, but the main containers that are rented include standard containers, accommodation units, workshop containers, distribution containers, and reefers. These containers are mainly used in sectors such as construction, petrochemicals, and shipping, but also in the events sector and at festivals.

Why choose to rent a container?

At Hacon Containers, we offer more than 80 container types that are available for both sale and rent. The possibilities are virtually endless when you purchase a container, because in collaboration with Hacon Container Modifications, we can modify anything for your container. Purchasing a container is not necessary or cost-effective for every company. For these companies, renting is the perfect solution. Renting has several advantages that purchasing does not.

No need for your own storage

It may go without saying, but renting a container means you don't need your own storage space. Many companies need a temporary, flexible solution. For example, a construction company may need accommodation units and scaffolding and electrical containers for six months, or an events company may need a bar container during King's Day. After the event or construction project, the containers are no longer needed and we store them at Hacon Containers.

We take care of the logistics process

Another major advantage of renting a shipping container from us is that they are delivered right to your doorstep. Sarah explains: “At Hacon, we also take care of the logistics. If desired, we ensure that the container is delivered to the right location and picked up again after the rental period has ended.” This means that, as a company, you don't have to deal with any logistical headaches; Hacon Containers will ensure that the rented container ends up in the right place.

We guarantee quality and a working container.

Sarah explains that at Hacon Containers, they always strive to deliver the same high quality. This means you can always expect the same quality, regardless of the container you rent. Of course, something may still break while using the container. It could be an air conditioner in an accommodation container or the cooling element in a reefer, but whatever the case, at Hacon Containers, they will ensure it is repaired immediately.
