Our rich history began in 1927, when the transport company G. van der Weijden Transport BV was founded.
1981
Origins of Hacon Containers
Thanks to our specialization in shipping containers, transport company G. van der Weijden Transport BV changed its name in 1981. That is how Hacon Containers came into being!
2021
40th anniversary
In 2021, we celebrated our 40th anniversary. We can rightly call this a milestone, and we are very proud of it!
2022
Hacon Container Modifications becomes independent
The growing demand for modification projects has led to HCM becoming independent. From now on, they will operate from Moezelweg 220.

Launch Hacon Solar Container
The Solar container is introduced as a patented product, revolutionizing sustainable energy production.

Location in Purmerend
Hacon Containers has its origins in Rotterdam, but added a new branch in Purmerend in 2024.

Acquisition of Dutch Trading Consortium B.V.
DTC will continue under its own name and with its own staff, offering a broader range of products, greater expertise, a larger and wider inventory, and more possibilities.

Acquisition of Overbeek Container Control B.V.
We are proud to announce that we have completed a new acquisition. OCC will continue under the name Hacon Container Depot B.V.
