Every container that leaves our workshop in the port of Rotterdam is the result of more than 40 years of experience in container construction. 1. Introduction and orientation at Hacon Container Modifications
A good project starts with a good conversation. That is why, after receiving your request, we would like to invite you to visit us at our location at Moezelweg 220 in Rotterdam. Together, we will discuss your wishes and ideas, and during a tour of the workshop, you will immediately get an idea of the possibilities. This will form the basis for a container that seamlessly meets your needs.
2. From idea to concrete container design
After the initial introduction, we will provide a calculation and a customized quote. We can always adjust these, because the possibilities are endless and we are happy to think along with you. This way, we can make the container even better!
Once the quote has been approved, our technical draughtsman will develop a basic sketch into a technical drawing. This will give you a clear picture of what your container will look like, including the layout, dimensions, and finish. Once you have approved this, we can start construction.
3. Start of construction
At Hacon Container Modifications, we build everything under one roof. Our trained and skilled metalworkers start with the construction work. The welding work is certified and provided with the correct documentation. At Hacon, quality is not a promise, but a standard.
4. Blanks steel inspection
Before the container goes to the paint shop, we invite you back for what is known as the blank steel check. This is the moment to review the progress and make any necessary adjustments to the details. Once everything is to your satisfaction, the container moves on to the next phase.
5. Coating and preservation, protection for years of use
Our spray shop applies a durable protective coating to the container. The coating is carefully applied and tailored to the application and environment in which the container will be used. Our coating system has been extensively tested in laboratories and guarantees a long service life, even under harsh conditions.
6. Custom finishes and interiors
After preservation, our carpenters take over. They insulate, finish the container, and realize the interior according to plan. Whether it's a workspace, technical unit, or promotional container, every detail is executed with craftsmanship. We advise on material selection, layout, and finish, so that the end result perfectly matches the practical application. The possibilities are endless.
7. Electrical and installation
Finally, the technology comes to life. Our electricians equip the container with a complete electrical installation, including lighting, heating, high-voltage current, and all necessary connections. Everything is carefully calculated, connected, and tested. Thanks to the plug-and-play connection, the container is immediately ready for use, anywhere.
8. Completion and final inspection
When everything is ready, we invite you one more time to deliver the container in its entirety. Together, we check everything until the last detail is correct. Only when you are satisfied do we consider the project complete.
