What is an open side container?
An open side container is a standard container with a unique modification: in addition to the short side, it has doors on one long side. This makes it easy to load and unload large or long goods, such as pipes or tubes, even when the container is on a chassis. The entire side can be opened, providing wider access and maximum flexibility.

How is the transport of an open side container arranged?
When we arrange transport, this is at the expense and risk of the client. We deliver the container according to the Ex Works principle: we make the container available at our location, after which the transport costs and additional costs are borne by the client.
Is the open side container insured during transport?
During transport, you are responsible for insuring the container. However, Hacon Containers is always included as a co-insured party on the policy.
