The Hacon Group is a perfect example of that. What started 45 years ago as a company trading shipping containers has grown into a versatile organization with several specialized companies under one name. And although much has changed over the years, one thing has always remained the same: the Rotterdam mentality of taking action, thinking along with customers, and getting the job done.

Growing with the Market

The container industry never stands still. Where containers were once mainly used for transport and storage, today they are part of complete custom-made solutions. This development required knowledge, flexibility and specialization — exactly the areas in which the Hacon Group continued to grow.

Over the years, several specialized divisions were added to Hacon Containers, each contributing its own expertise. With Hacon Container Modifications (HCM), we create custom container projects for a wide range of applications. Hacon Container Depot (HCD) focuses on storage, maintenance and logistics services. Through Hacon Rental, we provide flexible rental solutions for temporary capacity and projects. And with Hacon Energy, we respond to the growing demand for smart and sustainable energy solutions. DTC has also become part of the continuously expanding Hacon Group.
